Project Overview
The homeowner, Richard Coleman, was experiencing a roof crisis. Not only was the roof leaking, the blinds and units were failing.
He had considered changing his traditional beautiful glass and hardwood conservatory roof due to panels deteriorating, along with new blinds that were required – however this would cost more than £25,000 to repair.
It didn’t take Mr Coleman long to decide to totally remove and replace the glass roof and go for an insulated roof. This solution would be more durable, eliminate the need for blinds, and ensured the space would stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
The homeowner, having previously worked with Connole Conservatories and trusting their workmanship, sought Richard Connole’s advice. Richard recommended installing a SupaLite roof.
The house, originally built in 1901 and featuring several extensions, had a highly complex structure—essentially two conservatories connected by another in the centre. This made the project especially challenging.
Despite these difficulties, Connole Conservatories expertly overcame all the challenges, replacing the glass roof successfully with a SupaLite Roof. The transformation turned the conservatory into a well-insulated space, allowing the homeowner to enjoy it comfortably year-round.

This was one of our most challenging projects of recent, due to the complex angles of the installation. We worked closely with Richard Connole to guarantee precise measurements and ensure the customer was satisfied with the conservatory roof design.
Once approved, we began building the bespoke roof. Throughout the manufacturing process, we ensured the roof is cut to the exact sizes requested and in kit form ready to be delivered within 7 working days.
We’re thrilled with the final result and even more delighted that the customer loves their new SupaLite roof.
